ADHD Awareness Month 2026

ADHD Awareness Month runs throughout October. It's when most UK charities, clinics and community groups put on their events, and when the largest free online conferences take place.

If you only go to one ADHD event this year, October is when you'll have the most to choose from.

What's on in October

Free online conferences, charity webinars, workplace talks, local coffee mornings and awareness walks. Most are free and many are recorded.

Book by late September

The free online conferences don't sell out, but the in person events often do. Local support groups tend to cap numbers at 15 to 25 people.

If October feels like a lot

It's a busy, loud month, and that can be its own problem. Recorded sessions let you catch up in November when things are quieter.

See the full ADHD Awareness Month breakdown.

The big UK ADHD events of 2026

A handful of events anchor the ADHD calendar each year. These are the ones people travel for.

Global ADHD Conference 2026

Early October, online, free

The Global ADHD Conference runs online in early October, free to attend, for adults with ADHD anywhere in the world. It's now in its fifth year and runs across time zones, hosted jointly by ADHD UK, ADHD Australia, ADHD New Zealand, Unlocking ADHD and the Goldilocks and The Bear Foundation.

Worth it: the best single pick for most adults.

UK ADHD Coaching Online Summit 2026

Early October, online

The UK ADHD Coaching Online Summit runs online in early October, hosted by Ascend ADHD, for people interested in coaching approaches to ADHD.

Worth it: yes, if coaching is what you're after.

UKAAN Conference 2026

November, Royal College of Physicians, London

The UKAAN Conference runs in November at the Royal College of Physicians in London, for clinicians and researchers, with roughly 350 attendees and ticket prices to match.

Worth it: only if you work in this field.

The Autism & ADHD Show

London, Birmingham and Liverpool

The Autism & ADHD Show tours London, Birmingham and Liverpool as a family and consumer expo, CPD certified, with free entry for under 16s.

Worth it: good if you're bringing children.

ADDISS National Conference

Three days, UK

The ADDISS National Conference runs over three days in the UK for parents, teachers and professionals, and has been going for years.

Worth it: strongest if ADHD is part of your job.

The ADHD & Women Summit, London

London

The ADHD & Women Summit runs in London, aimed at women with ADHD, with tickets listed through Eventbrite.

Worth it: yes, if late diagnosis is your story.

ADHD Foundation events

Year round, online and UK wide

The ADHD Foundation runs webinars and workshops all year rather than one fixed date, alongside the Neurodiversity Umbrella Project.

Worth it: good low commitment starting point.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026

16 to 22 March 2026, passed

Neurodiversity Celebration Week ran from 16 to 22 March 2026 with free virtual events UK wide, founded by Siena Castellon in 2018. Diary it for March 2027.

Worth it: yes, and it costs nothing.

Looking for something smaller and closer to home? Those are on our ADHD events near you page.

Looking ahead to 2027

A few 2027 dates are already fixed. Neurodiversity Celebration Week returns in March, and the big October conferences run every year.

We'll have a full 2027 calendar up shortly.

Questions about ADHD events in 2026

When is ADHD Awareness Month 2026?

ADHD Awareness Month runs throughout October 2026. Most UK charities and community groups schedule their biggest events during this month, including several free online conferences. It's the busiest month in the ADHD calendar by a wide margin.

What ADHD conferences are happening in the UK in 2026?

The main UK dates are the Global ADHD Conference and the UK ADHD Coaching Online Summit in early October, the UKAAN Conference in November, and the ADDISS National Conference. The Autism and ADHD Show also runs in London, Birmingham and Liverpool. Full dates are listed above.

Are there free ADHD conferences in 2026?

Yes. The Global ADHD Conference is free to attend online, and most charity webinars cost nothing. Peer support groups and coffee mornings are almost always free. Paid conferences often hold back concession places if you ask.

How far in advance should I book an ADHD event?

It depends on the type. Local support groups can usually be booked the same week, workshops two to six weeks ahead, and conferences two to four months ahead. Early bird conference pricing normally closes six to eight weeks before the date.

When is Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026?

Neurodiversity Celebration Week ran from 16 to 22 March 2026. It takes place every March and includes free virtual events across the UK. It returns in March 2027.

Are ADHD events recorded if I can't attend live?

Most online conferences and webinars are recorded and shared afterwards, usually with everyone who registered. In person events rarely are. If catching up later matters to you, register anyway even if you're unsure about the day itself.

What ADHD events are happening near the end of 2026?

November and December are quieter. The UKAAN Conference runs in November for clinicians and researchers, and local groups continue monthly. December is mostly online sessions and informal social meetups.

Where can I find ADHD events for 2027?

A few 2027 dates are already confirmed, including Neurodiversity Celebration Week in March. We're building a full 2027 calendar and will link it from this page. The large October conferences run annually, so they're safe to pencil in.
