Loops, the ADHD app that helps you finish what you start

Small, doable actions. Someone who sees you do them.
An AI coach who gets ADHD.

We built ADHD Events. We also built Loops, and the same idea sits behind both: take something ADHD brains find hard, and make it easier.

The calendar makes events easy to find. Loops makes goals easier to finish.

If you've ever come away from a brilliant ADHD webinar with three things you were definitely going to start on Monday, you already know why we made it.

What is Loops?

Loops is a daily coaching app designed for people with ADHD. You set a goal that matters to you, break it into small actions you can actually start, and pick one person who gets to see you do them.

Streaks earn rewards you choose for yourself. An AI coach called Dora is there when you need to think something through, including at 11pm. It's free to start and it works on your phone.

In short

What it is: an ADHD app built around goals, small daily actions, accountability and rewards

Who it's for: people with ADHD, and anyone who starts things more easily than they finish them

What makes it different: a real person sees your progress, and nothing in the app runs on shame

What it costs: free to start, with a subscription from $3.58 a month if you want more

How it relates to this site: made by the same team as ADHD Events, and it's what keeps the calendar free

ADHD Events is powered by Loops

Two things from the same team, built for the same brain. The calendar solves one problem. Loops solves the one that comes straight after it.

Finding the event is the first half

ADHD Events exists because the information was scattered. You wanted to learn something about your brain and you ended up with twelve tabs open instead. Now it's one ADHD events calendar, with the coaches and experts behind each event listed alongside it, and the finding part stops being the hard part.

Doing something with it is the second half

Here's the bit nobody says out loud. You go to the webinar. It's brilliant. You come away with three things you're definitely going to start on Monday.

Then Monday happens.

That gap between learning something and living it is not a willpower problem. It's the ADHD bit. Loops is built for that gap: one goal, small actions, someone watching, and a reward at the end of the week. There's more on the thinking behind it in the Loops ADHD knowledge hub.

Who Loops is for

Loops is designed first for people with ADHD, diagnosed or not, medicated or not. If you're still working out whether any of this applies to you, Loops has a plain-English read on whether this could be ADHD.

It tends to help most if you recognise any of this:

You start things easily and finish them far less often

You've tried planners, timers and habit trackers, and none of them stuck

You know exactly what you should be doing, which somehow makes it worse

You do turn up for other people, just not for yourself

You've got a goal you keep quietly carrying from one year into the next

It also works for people without ADHD who want to build something steady. The reason it works for us is the reason it works for them.

The bit that actually matters

You don't lack willpower. You lack a system and a buddy.

ADHD brains don't finish for apps. They finish for people. Everything in Loops is built around that one fact.

How Loops works

Five parts. You can set the whole thing up in about five minutes, and you only need the first two to start.

1

Set a goal that matters

Write it in your own words, give it a season, and name exactly what done looks like. A goal with a finish line is something your brain can actually see.

2

Do small, doable Loops

A Loop is an action small enough to start. 30 press-ups a day. 3 runs a week. 2 hours of study. Reading to your daughter every night.

Daily, weekly, hours per week, or one-offs. The commitment is the count. When you do it is your business.

3

Be seen by your Buddy

Pick someone who matters. Your partner, your best mate, your mum. They see your progress as you complete Loops and can react with a tap.

They don't nag. They don't manage you. They just get to watch you do the thing. That changes everything.

4

Feel the win

Completing week streaks triggers rewards you choose for yourself. The gig tickets. The tattoo. The guilt free Saturday.

Your brain gets to feel the progress, not just the gap.

Talk to Dora

Dora is an AI coach who gets ADHD. Ask her anything about how your brain works, or let her suggest Loop ideas to move your goal along.

She already knows your goal, your Loops and your history, so there's no re-explaining yourself from the beginning. And she's there at 11pm, which is when you actually need her. If you'd rather read than chat, the knowledge hub covers the same ground, free.

Built without the shame bit

Most habit apps quietly run on shame. The red streak. The guilt notification. The "we miss you" email after a bad week.

Loops doesn't do any of that. A missed day is information, not failure. One missed day turning into a week you can't face is the ADHD shame spiral, and designing it out was the first decision we made.

At most three notifications a day

A morning round-up. An afternoon check-in, and only if nothing's happening. A kind word in the evening. When you're on track, we're silent.

Rest days

Four a month, no questions asked. Your streaks survive.

Away mode

Holidays, illness, life. Everything pauses, nothing is lost, and there's no guilt waiting for you when you come back.

No "streak broken"

You won't see it. Not on day two, not on day thirty. Your history is yours to look at when it's useful, not a stick to be hit with.

Loops FAQs

Do I have to use Loops to use ADHD Events?

No, and you never will. The calendar is free to browse, free to submit to and free to embed, with no account needed. Loops funds it. It doesn't gate it.

Is Loops only for people with ADHD?

It's designed for ADHD first. That means small actions, low pressure, and accountability built around a real person rather than a notification. Plenty of people without ADHD use it for the same reasons.

What is a Loop?

A Loop is one action, small enough that starting it isn't the hard part. It can be daily, weekly, a number of hours per week, or a one-off. You set the count, and when you do it is up to you.

Who is my Buddy and what can they see?

Your Buddy is someone you choose, like a partner, friend or parent. They see your Loops closing and your streaks, and they can react with a tap. They don't see your journal or your conversations with Dora.

Who is Dora?

Dora is an AI coach built for ADHD. She knows your goal, your Loops and your history, so you don't have to explain yourself from scratch each time. Conversations with her are private.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing unkind. You get four rest days a month with no questions asked, and your streak survives them. For longer breaks there's Away mode, which pauses everything without losing anything.

Is Loops free?

Yes, to start. A free account gets two goals, two Loops, two rewards, your journal, your streaks, your rest days, your Buddy and 30 messages a month with Dora. A subscription lifts the limits and raises the message allowance to 100 a month.

How do I cancel?

In your iPhone settings, any time. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Small loops. Big goals. Someone watching.

That's the whole trick.

Loops is free to start, and you can set up your first goal in about five minutes.
